Meta-Mak is founded by Erguvan Tezel.

GIFA fair was visited with General Manager and Technical Director of Odoksan; Mehmet Kozan and Osman Demiralay. Afterwards; Meta-Mak became an agent of Richards, Inductotherm, BMM Weston, Sterling Industries, Hilger Analytical, Wheelaborator Berger.

With the first partners, active market researches were begun and various sales were made to Turkish Foundry Industry.

The corporate entered to a 2-3 years of recession period due to economical crisis.

Agency agreement was signed with Inductotherm and first induction furnace sales were concluded.

Meta-Mak became an agent of George Fischer (GF) and high capacity foundry projects began. With reference of Ak Dokum, Meta-Mak contracted with OBLF spectrometer GmbH and have begun to spectrometer sales in the market. First fair attendance was made with a 20 m2 stand in Ankara which was organized by Chamber of Metallurgical Engineers. OBLF spectrometers, sand laboratory equipments and GF runner breaker were displayed for the first time.

By being agent of ASHLAND, Meta-Mak marketshare in resin procurement reached to 40%.

Important sales were achieved in Akpinar foundry project with receiving orders for one induction furnace, a pair of moulding machine and one spectrometer. EKU bought his first moulding line from George Fischer.

With the attendance of new agencies, Meta-Mak improved his position in Iron-Steel industry. First considerable amount of sales were performed to Eregli Iron&Steel facility.

Inductotherm Induction Furnaces was established in Istanbul/Turkey.

Kutes Dokum installed a new foundry with GF moulding line, induction furnace, GF sand preparation system and core machines. An agency agreement contracted with Schenck.

An agency agreement was signed for sublance systems with Leeds&Northrup Metallurgical Products. Concurrently, an agreement settled with Balteu NDT/ Belgium to develop service network in NDT sector.

Meta-Mak began to represent Magma Simulation Software programs.

Membership application was confirmed and Meta-Mak became a member of Turkish Foundrymen Association (TUDOKSAD).

Meta-Mak signed an agreement with Kodak, worldwide brand in industrial films. Since then, Meta-Mak came to be known in NDT market. An agency agreement contracted with Scanmaster Systems and Meta-Mak began to improve his cooperations with pipe plants and aviation companies.

Meta-Mak agreed to represent Sonatest PLC, an English company, by promoting ultrasonic test equipments in the market.

Meta-Mak contracted with many companies which operate in aluminium extrusion line and integration units sector with the purpose of improving product range.

First extrusion press sale was performed to Elektrosan/Samsun.

First aluminium extrusion line was installed in Astas Aluminyum.

BALTEAU NDT - portable equipment level II certificate of education received successfully by Meta-Mak.

Meta- Mak qualified for certificate of Industrial Radiography Radiation Protection from Turkey Atomic Energy Authority.

Membership application of Meta-Mak was confirmed by Turkish Aluminium Association (TALSAD). Astas Aluminyum ordered second aluminium extrusion line from OMAV. Meta-Mak and ATG Technologies, who deals in magnetic particle and penetrant test systems, training and certification services, began to cooperate in one name for training and consultancy services in Turkey.

Meta-Mak became an agent of ATG and MR Chemie.

Meta-Mak qualified for UT level III certification successfully.

Denizciler and Lava Metal contracted their first DISA MATCH moulding line from DISA.

For demo presentations and research/development activities, Meta-Mak ordered Ultrasonic phased array/tofd VEO demo equipment from Sonatest.

Meta-Mak ordered high technology digital radiography equipment of HPX from Carestream Health for demo presentations

Meta-Mak contracted an agency agreement with Ether NDE in Non-Destructive Testing division.
